Sick day Sunday 2/23!

I have been BOWLED OVER by the flu…. I made the executive decision to take Sunday off (I hate to do it, but I seriously doubt I will be well enough to perform tomorrow night) I asked local legend Terry Rickard to play for me, and he said he will, so it’ll be a good show tomorrow night. But I won’t be there! Going to take time and heal up as well as I can. Sorry gang! I should be back there next Sunday 3/2

March gigs listed

Hi everyone, just wanted to give a heads up that I’ve got the March gigs listed on the calendar. An unusual Ben Gibson Band performance (for winter; we don’t usually do band gigs in the winter) is at “Hidden Track” in Pagosa Springs on March 15. This will probably be done in an ‘unplugged’ format, to manage indoor volume, but should be a fun, raucous, rock-n-roll evening none-the-less! Slow time of the year for live music, but opportunities to see all three formats of Ben Gibson Music these upcoming weeks. All the duo configurations will be with Jim Belcher, bassist/vocalist extraordinaire, and the band gig with Jim and the one and only Ben Simpson on drums, percussion and vocals. New Website Welcome!

Hello, everyone, and welcome to my new website! It has taken a LONG time to get this up and running (apologies for the delay, all!) and if it wasn’t for my talented friend Karen, I doubt it would be up still. Thanks Karen!

This will be the place to check the calendar to see all the dates for Ben Gibson solo, duo and band. I will update this note section as the spirit moves me and will occasionally post videos and other stuff.
